Hello, got the stool test back and the result is follow: showed many positive rods and many positive cocci. been had very loose watery dirrehea for 2 months now. should I be concerned? please help GRAM STAIN No WBCs seen GRAM STAIN Many Gram Negative Rods GRAM STAIN Many Gram Positive Rods GRAM STAIN Many Gram Positive Cocci
Vibrio, Salmonella, Shigella, E. coli may present like gram negative rods. gram positive Eubacteria, Propioni bacteria, Pepto, Streptococcus, etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
So get it done drug sensitivity testing. Then take tablets or injections accordingly. Please consult your physician/gastroentrologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
